How to buy a vehicle? The procedures.

  I find little help from onemotoring.com. Can anyone give a down to earth procedures in buying a vehicle, like where and how to bid COE, how and where to obtain and make a license plate, and what are the things to do to buy a vehicle? I still don't get how COE, buying a vehicle works.
  
  Perhaps you can list in order:
  
  1. COE
  2. License plate
  3. Dealer

  Why you need to know so much about the procedure? If you have the money, enough already, approach car sales man / woman, you will be advised accordingly...

  Just go to the SE, you pay them so many thousands of dollars and you still have to do these itty bitty things by yourself, don't you think its too much?

  1. choose the cars you like
  2. make sure got enough $$$$
  3. repeat 1 and 2 till you find a list of cars that you like, and enough $$$ to pay for it.
  
  4. go test drives

  How about a motorcycle, the procedure to buy and own is the same as the car?
  
  I guess no need too much $$$ can pay by instalments.

  Choose car.
  Cut price.
  
  IF OK THE $$.
  
  He go to bank for loan.
  He see whether approve.
  He ask u put deposit $$.
  He tel u wait for car.
  He call u to collect car.
  
  He should supply insurance,rd tax,freebies(ka-jiao him to gv,if not dun buy)

  most importantly its whether you can afford the ride in long term!
  
  i.e. petrol, parking fee, parking coupon, maintenance, road tax, insurance, spare $$$ for urgent matters, etc etc.
  
  ask yourself if you're ready to own a ride seriously.

  First and foremost, set a budget. Include all expense. For example, parking fees, insurance, road tax, instalments, etc.

  2. test drive
  3. get quotation (price,insurance,rd-tax)
  4. negotiate for price or freebies
  5. put deposit ($),sign dotted line
  6. SE will do everything for you
  7. get car
  8. wash car
  9. show off to friends
  10. and the cycle continues.......if u wan to chg car
