yeah..then tailgate when u are already on the friggin left lane. drive without signals...drive zig zag...drive in the middle of the road...stop anyhow...high beam anyhow..impatient...horn if u not moving on green light even if its late by 0.3secs. fug taxi drivers...i hate them...but not all are bad..these are the black sheep that made taxi look bad...but then...still there are more black sheeps in there...

Yeah, I mean we get annoyed when fresh graduates make minor mistakes in their jobs too. It is common for old birds to be less patient.

as with all things, there are always exceptions to the norm. there are nice friendly taxi uncles who gladly give way and there are the persistent private car drivers who speed up when they see u signaling to change lanes. its all a matter of ur experience and perception.

Just yesterday Comfort taxi driver refuse my fare. I was carrying my cat to the vet in a carrier. Taxi 9165 stopped, and ask whats inside the carrier, my wife say its a cat, the driver showed a sour face and wave his hand no, and drove away.
Bloody hell, I want to write in to complain, but my wife say don't, because some people are 'like that". Anyway the next taxi that came along, the driver was a pleasant fellow.
This incident make me skeptical that taxi drivers are finding it hard to make ends meet. -
60% of taxi drivers are really too much - impatience, not considerate and really think they are king of the road.
Taking cab equavilent to buying toto or 4d. must see luck whether the driver is pleasant or not.
Being a driver on the road does make u understand why taxi driver are always being curse by other drivers on the road. -
knn. those buggers dun signal when cutting into ur lane one.

I might give them tips if they drive me to the destination in F1 speed (with safety of course)

I guess there are some cabbies that are nice and all but most are just downright annoying and selfish. Just like us private car owners, we have our ugly side too. Abt them complaining abt not being able to make a decent living, that is utter crap. Just before midnight charges apply they chill @ their regular haunts, when time comes they all chiong for fares. During peak hours they purposefully decline fares, knowing that if passengers really want a cab, they'll call one.., extra $$. I'm so thankful I'm driving now, dun have to be @ their mercy. Just dun follow behind cabbies and dun bother if they tailgate, just make a note and send to cab co. or @ worst TP. Everyone has to make a living, it's either ur good @ it or ur not....

with their world class attitude and service. disappearing at all the wrong times. queueing up at the wrong places. "stand by tree wait for rabbit".
why do with have to put up with this kind of crap? -
some are fugged up la... they high beam for wadever reason they can find... overtake them they high beam, cross the road also high beam,wadever u do they high bea,

worst still, b4 midnight charge, nowhere to be found... after midnight charge BO BAO got hor... all chiong to queue up at changi airport

talk lots of crap on TVs..they say what no business..what crap..when i go school,need a cab,i alway see those taxi sign up there "TAXI" in yellow..means its for hire..but damn taxi drivers just drive pass u like they cant see u..and some even better..u flag them so long then u see theres a passenger inside..and the taxi light is on..WTF..
plain dumb..still say no money no business..
