Kei-cars have restrictions on their length, width and maximum power output, so that they can qualify for tax breaks. The true output could be higher if you de-restrict the engine. Haha..i doubt the engine has enough power to make the car oversteer IMO..too weak to do that..and with current turbo technologies like lighter turbo fan, variable-vane design, the boost is no longer too obvious..it should be more linear now..Originally posted by n0x:yes... The new Porsche 911 Turbo used a variable-vane turbo, similar to those used in diesel engines..it's the first time a turbo from diesel engine was adapted for use in petrol engines..the benefit is a very linear power curve and the torque is constant..no turbo lag..

Btw, front/rear tyre widths are different. This is to curb potential oversteer tendencies of MR vehicles. Such as Lotus Elise/Exige, Toyota MR-S, Farraris, Lambos, Honda NSX.
