  hm, i believe i posted this question b4 oso. ok pple. we dun talk abt costs. we are saying, if tat car belongs to our friends. e car is registerd in malaysia under their name. n when they drive to singapore. can we drive their car legally in singapore? since we are holding singapore license, n e car does not belong to us. i send an email to the TP b4, but until now they still haven reply me.

  No you can't. I believe there's a signboard at the custom informing pple about singaporean not being able to drive malaysian registered vehicles in singapore.

  my uncle is sg..but he married a malaysian..he drives a malaysia car to sg all the time..

  so far less than 5 singaporean driver, or better Sg IC holder drive legal malaysia register car in Singapore.
  
  know of one friend, register his malaysia car under his factory name in malaysia, then register again in ROV singapore .
  
  it is because the factory is under his singapore IC name registered.
  therefore he informed ROV in Singapore.
  thus GREEN light from LTA.

  yep..the owner is a malaysian..he drives a black diablo too..all malaysia plate..his hummer is H2..not H3..H3 not out yet

  but e law doesn make sense. cuz u see ar. singapore government dun let singaporeans drive msia registered car in singapore cuz they scared all run to msia n buy. but, a msia car stay in singapore is 20 dollars per day leh. so afterall, it is also expensive n back to square one.

  yes, S$20.00 per day
  but every Malaysia car also got 10 days FREE
  and now school holiday can come in after 12 noon till the same night 2am
  
  but this only apply to work permit driver & real tourist.

  Well, either the malaysians are rich.. or is working in singapore.... tats y can stay long long in sg...
