  the obvious choice in the league of Jap MPVs would be the Odessey.

  I like the new odyssey's taillights, the led ones, they are so enchanting to look at when one is in front of you, you lose focus of the road. Once I was behind one, I was so mesmerized by it I forgot to make my turn.

  Really soooo mesmerising? Haha..i think the Grandis would be quite a good MPV too..but of course I would also think the Odyssey is nicer..but all these is a matter of personal taste..

  dun seem to see as many Grandis as compared to other MPVs... so there must be a reason to that

  the average singapore car buyer have this naive mentality that contis are low in resale value, expensive spare parts, higher Fc etc etc.
  
  So i just made up a rationale choice for him.
  
  The conti MPV segments are for people with acquired tastes (Grand Espace, Fiat MPV, Ford Galaxy, Chrysler Voyager...etc)

  i beg to differ .. i think the above mention mpvs .. least in term of cosmetic look doesnt match up to the japanese counterpart

  Well the engine the Grandis uses is fairly known... though it's not listed as one...

  Apart from being quite a large MPV (Comparable to the Toyota Estima), the engine and if possible, 4WD may actually make this MPV a sporty one...
