An experience with the Chery A168

Okay, last night at past midnight, I was on ECP(Changi) going to pasir ris. As I was nearing the exit to TPE, I noticed a black car on the road shoulder with its boot open and no lights on, its occupants were standing around the car.
As the boot was open, I could not tell wad car was it but since I had some time to spare, I jammed my brakes on the road shoulder and reversed to see if they needed any help like jumpstarting or what.
As I reversed, I saw the Chery badge on the front grille and realised it was an A168 saloon.
Its registration was SGsomething so it must be quite new.
Regardless, I got out of my car and went down and asked the driver if he needed any help.
He explained that a few hours earlier, a fuse blew and the car broke down. Chery then gave him a replacement fuse to get home. However, the fuse blew AGAIN and so the car cannot start again and thus he was stuck there. There was nothing much I could do about a blown fuse so I just asked if he had called a tow truck. He said ya and then I just let him know that I couldn't help la cos I thought maybe he just needed to borrow another car's battery to jumpstart.. oh well..
However, I must say that for a new car's fuse to blow, twice, is really terrible.. I swear i'd never drive a chery (the current versions at least) -
