Where to buy Bosch HID Xenon Lights?

  Hi bros,
  
  like to check if anyone know where i can buy Bosch HID Xenon headlamps, The model number is H4, 4000K, White light.
  
  Saw a brochure and it cost about SGD76.00 in Japan. Just wondering where and how much will it cost here?
  
  Also, any bros fitted Xenon headlamps to their cars? is it legal in Singapore? Can pass LTA inspection or not?

  Illegal to fit HID lamps to vehicle that does not come with HID from factory. Install those HID conversion kits at your own risk.

  Thanks bro, just that I saw a lot of cars on the roads now with HID lights, I thought it's legal...

  76 bucks is only for the xenon bulbs. to convert to HID, u need the ballasts as well. total package costs around 300 for el cheapo brands. and it'll only pass inspection if it is factory fitted.

  It's actually legal for cars which come stock with HID lights

  As you mentioned, cars that come with stock HID are legal... then my question is, what about some cars where the more luxury options come with HID whilst the lower end comes with normal halogen lights... for example, (if i'm not wrong), the BMW 3 Series.
  
  Then if i buy the lower end one without halogen, then can i upgrade next time since the higher end one comes with stock HID?

  LTA approves HIDs based on specific models of vehicles, even if its on the same vehicle type. For example, HIDs are standard fixtures on the DC5 type R, but not so for the DC5 GSR. hence, if u fit HIDs on a GSR, it is not approved.

  But there are some cars, eg BMW/Mini, where their models have option extras that include HID retrofitting, approved by factory (done at the authorized dealer of course). I believe LTA's rule on the HID is based more on the factory's approved specifications for that model.

  So if Honda has a HID retrofit for the DC5 GSR, then fitting HID in that is legal.... the retrofit kit has to be bought and done at the authorized dealer of course. Same for the BMW 3-series.
