Hi all, I was just wondering if it is practically feasible to take a Mazda 3 2.0l and turbocharge it to increase the power? Yes there is a MPS 3 but unfortunately it's a hatchback, and am not sure if the MPS 3 is available in the sedan edition.
Since the 2.0l MZR LF is in the same family as the 2.3l MZR L3, the one used for MPS 6, is it possible to turbocharge the 2.0 one? And if so, would the 4 speed auto trans require modification?
Just asking out of curiosity only, thanks all for replies!

Maybe just a light pressure turbo to improve low end torque a bit..

Compression ratios in turbocharged engines are lower than in naturally aspirated ones.
