SHELL stations are crap!!

Ever since 7-Eleven took over, there is now no cashcard top-up and AXS machine. What the hell is Shell thinking? Do you expect drivers to pay $0.50 just to top up cashcard?

not sure about AXS machine, but I definitely wont pay $0.50 to top up my cash card. Looks like the only solution is to start pumping at Esso or something.

i gradually switching to caltex. but caltex very few stations. so bo bian still pump shell when i can't find a caltex.
but i go shell i pump 30 l. i go caltex i pump full tank.
anyway caltex toilet nicer. -
explain in more detail how is 7 - 11 affecting you as customers at the Shell Station.

Eh.. ya 7-11 in shell sucks.. today i was at the pasir ris shell.. the new 7-11 staff somehow couldn't process a customer's payment.. in the end the queue stretch until out the glass door.. wait n wait. feel like just go back my car n drive off dont pay nxt time then pay.. wth..
the old shell staff were better.. friendlier too..
and i just did a shell customer survey regarding the escape loyalty programme.. they're gonna change stuff again.. and their items to redeem very lousy and stupid.. sianz..

Well, my experience at Shell stations around SG varies from time to time but I must agree with some of u guys/gals out there about their service staff. They used to be local u see... now it is more commonly PRC's (no pun intended) Although they are more polite than most, they aren't the sharpest tools in the shed, if u get my drift... There used to be those older SG staff, uncles & aunties. They are more experienced for one & they are friendly too..., so much for realizing the usefulness & resourcefulness of our elderly generation. Instead of employing our own, our leaders encourage employment of 'foreign talent' (if there is such a thing).... As for 7-11, well that was a corporate decision & it is common knowledge that they charge more because of their 24hr operation. Cashcard top-up is free at ATMs so there is still an option, better than paying $0.50..., agreed? But what vexes me the most is the Car Wash @ Shell stns..., not standardized so sometimes, u'll find soap suds under ur wipers when u get home... They should really do something about quality rather than quantity.., they hv the most nos. of outlets islandwide but places like SPC do a better job at the Car Wash end...

But is the Shell Car wash 3rd party ? Or automated.

Well, it depends on how u wanna complain n how u wanna bring it up. Station can either be dealer built , or Shell built. If not satisfied , call up the hotline , complain and the Territorial Manager will come down n have a look. Shell takes customer complaints seriously. But u have to be within reason ya. -
7-11 is getting more expensive..
