Question about Private learning

I have a millitary driving license and have drove about 1000KM thereabouts.

I have enrolled for private class 3 license at BBDC and took my BTT already. FTT is coming up in 2 weeks.

I have not engaged a driving instructor nor gone for any lessons.
I am confident of passing my TP with only a few lessons.

SO, where can I get an instructor? Will I be allowed to go for a test with just a few lessons, provided that I think I am ready?

for pte u can.. as long as u can get a early test date..

my instructor told me b4.. he had a stud.. revoke for drunk driving.. go for 3-4 lessons and 7 days later TP test and pass..

Yes, for private is OK. After all you have a military license so you already know how to drive. But don't be overconfident as the tester might mark you down for bad habits you may already have formed while driving landrovers and 5 tons..

Don't worry. I'm the most timid driver you have ever seen. Changing lanes on the expressway with a 50km/h speed limit really trains my patience. Everytime I signal the lane beside me accelerates cos' they wouldn't want to be stuck beside me.
