Use photoshop blur away everything else except the flying spur and it should be alright..I copied the picture to my computer yesterday to see if it will make the Flying Spur look more in focus, and it did..

Secondly, i would use a F1.8 or a F2.0 lens to create a small DOF, so that the car will be in focus and the plane to be blur.
Thirdly, if i were to take this shot, I would squat down and so that the car will take ur the bottom 2/3 of the photo and the sky + plane the remaining 1/3 at the top.
Generally, I feel most of the bentley photos are without a theme to it. They dont bring the best out of this luxurious machine. In some photos, your eyes will wonder just to find the subject of focus. IMO, they are just normal, plain yet sharp photos.

thx bro. i appreciate u take yr time to tell me how u feel and how to improve it. will take up yr pointers and try it next time if i have the chance. i was using F5 for that picture andthe lowest i could go was 3.5. out of so many photoshoots i have done b4, this is one that i receive the most critics. stress will try to improve and be back with more exciting photos.

and uh.. u could try switching to a telephoto (a real one, not a zoom lens) lens and taking the pic from further away to get the shallower DOF as well.
all the above for the first photo onli with the car and plane facing the same direction.
the 2nd pic with the car facing back and the plane facing front just can't cut it for me.. sorry
the car and the plane is already a huge contrast. putting them facing the same direction (or in a symmetrical fashion) will force comparison - like in the first photo. thereafter, you give the car 2/3 and the plane 1/3 to show that the car is more impt.
however, putting the car's butt facing the front and the plane's nose facing the same way is more of a contradiction. even with the rule of thirds and the shallow dof, the framing just doesn't add up. -

The road surface, plants, foliage and all could have been replaced with something else like a fence or a building (depending...) -
