I received a notice to attend court in a few months time because I was caught driving a borrowed OPC without the coupon.. was really a suay day because I was stopped by TP like 100 metres from the carpark while actually moving the car to a carpark closer to the post office to buy the coupon
Dun think I would get off without a fine. But appreciate any advice on what to do or point out in court to reduce the fine? for eg. plead guilty or leniency? First time kenna stopped by TP and have to attend court lah in my 5 yrs driving.. rental cars lah
Actually i had gone to the post office at abt 8.30am but it was 1 of those PO that open at 9.30
. so i went to get the car from my friend's house abt 15 mins walk away so by the time i got the car, i had half an hour to kill and another half an hour to walk to the PO and back so tot put at the PO's carpark, buy and be on my way. some may say not worth time saved but i wasn't fully aware of the penalty at that time cos 1st time drive an OPC and that day 1st time use the coupon and read the penalty stated on it.. but no use kenna book already.. suay
