Hello Friends,
I just like to find out how people generally wash their cars.
I seldom see people washing their cars. Prolly they go to drive-in for washing at petrol kiosks etc.
Or does it mean, they simply seldom wash their cars?
So, how often should the car be washed?
Everytime after a rain since there is acid in the rain ?
After car is waxed, how soon to wax again?
Should it be rewaxed after a heavy rain?
How much protection can waxing provide car surface?
What happens if you dun wash the car (like just spraying plain water) after a rain?
Thanks in advance!
regards
R.
I wash my car or van once or twice a week.
Wax every 2 weeks. Waxes will only last for 2 weeks.
Try to wax your car at least twice a month, to protect the paint job.
Those driving white or red coloured cars sholud wash & wax more often.
White coloured cars will leave stain marks after rain, red coloured cars will fade off after too much sunshine.
Tip, to save some $, Usually I will go to Shing Song to buy a 5L KIT Wash & Glow to wash my car, van & bike. Cost $10.20 cheap and good.
Please wash your car from top to bottom (the way how you bath yrself), dun wash the rims then wash the windows.
I hate those car washers at Petrol stations when they wash the rims then wash the top of some cars that went ther to hav their cars washed.
