thanks for the info. what about toyota noah and Nissan lafesta? do they own each other company shares?Originally posted by erayvne:Toyota owns 51% of stakes in Daihatsu and Daihatsu and Toyota are essentially the same company in Japan.
Same goes for Toyota Rush - Daihatsu Terios, Toyota Passo - Daihatsu Sirion
that would be ideal but costly for a start i think. they could simply engaged top notch designers, engineers and mgmt within the industry...Originally posted by WHATODO:I thinkk in the future China will be rich enough to buy a few Japanese car makers or own most of the shares...
Look at China's current foreign reserve as compare to the world.

i think we can always figure out similarity one way or another b/w different car model/brands.
overall, i guess it all depends on what's the company mktg strategy and the the target market they are after.
Face the fact, the rise of China has made alot of people envy/jelous...why is that? hmmmOriginally posted by erayvne:Do they look so similar to u? They don't look similar to me, if you compare them in real life, the back, side, front, interior.
why should i be jealous of a probable ride to hades?Originally posted by WHATODO:Face the fact, the rise of China has made alot of people envy/jelous...why is that? hmmm![]()

Go take a look and see for yourself. If you cannot see even the slightest similarity I really have nothing to say already.
As mentioned before, it took the Japanese quite a while to "get it right", and when China does get it right thats the time when new designs and innovations (and safety- im not even going to go into the crumple zones, rollcages, crash test etc etc) will flourish. And that time is not now currently, but it will come sooner or later.
Enjoy your car, the silver color looks great. Great price as well.

By the way, no one is bashing china as a whole. Sure, there are many fantastic things coming from china, such as cardboard char siew, formaldehyde laden clothing, fake milk powder and so on and so forth, but we have been purely discussing about china made cars, not china as a whole.Originally posted by WHATODO:No I am not from PRC, just don't like to see the world bullying China (CHINA BASHING).![]()

Did you take anu photos?Originally posted by erayvne:I saw a Hafei 7110 today in my car park I think, can't remember the model number but yes its Hafei.
I thought that it looks quite ok and roomy, but frankly speaking, I'm worried about its safety measures.
China cars are ok, as long as they are safe to drive and they try to be more original.
Nope, din have my camera on me..Originally posted by WHATODO:Did you take anu photos?
