May i know which one you bought - 1.1 or 1.3 ?
yap!!! let's hope its an enjoyable one. i test drove the 1.3lite ones and compared against the 1.1. the diff is quite significant i feel.Originally posted by WHATODO:1.1, why did you buy one yourself too?
Robert Kiyosaki says, 'You can be rich by being cheap, but in the end, you're still cheap'.Originally posted by WHATODO:Thanks! yes thats the idea
Aviation history? Care to explain further? Btw what does ha fei mean?Originally posted by ekkme1:yap!!! let's hope its an enjoyable one. i test drove the 1.3lite ones and compared against the 1.1. the diff is quite significant i feel.
anyway its a good deal despite china made.
its no doubt that ths car's technology is 1 or 2 generation behind modern cars. but old technology does not mean unreliable. i do agree in terms of safety wise its not comparable with most cars. i guess each and every one buys car with certain priority in mind...of course within each budget.
for me i'm a practical and budget conscious. also like to try out new car but of course with reasonable grounds...hyundai is one of them - its a gamble with calculated risk.
Personally i don't see how bad hafei's range of product can go based on their aviation background. i read before that their groups revenue or assets (can't remember which one) was 11 billion RMB (abt SGD 2 billion) which is quite impressive i thought.
Safety risk can be minimised by being more careful and not driving to the limit (of course if luck is not on your side, anything could happen).
My gut feel is that this brand is reliable though safety and technology wise it may not be as good as others.
Enjoy your ride...Cheers!![]()
