Coversion of SG Driving Licence

  Hi,
  
  I would like to know that in accordance with the law in Australia, I am advised to apply for a Australian Driving Licence using my SG Driving Licence. In such doing, would my SG Driving Licence still valid and recognised?

  No need to convert lar, just use your singapore driving licence in Oz. Renting car is easier.

  The SG licence alone is already good enuff...
  But if u must or wanna play safe then u can apply for International Driving Permit frm AAS:

  i'm headed NSW in a month's time for studies and i've checked it out already.
  
  singapore license shouldn't have a problem driving/converting there though it doesn't hurt to have an international driving permit. RTA reserves the right to require you to go through a practical or theory test over there.
  
  not sure about other states but if you have less than 12 month driving experience you need to put P1 plate and if you have more than 12 month but less than 3 years of driving experience you need to put P2 plate.
  
  their P plate a lot of bloody restrictions one
