Got my licence since 10/11/00
Currently driving 1992 Nissan Sunny B13 1.5ex (m)
Paid 14k ++ for the car in june 01... Extended the PQP at $19480 -

well, just like to ask, cos i might be buying a cheap second hand car for transport,
what are the fees i need to pay to the transfers and how much does the insurances, road tax, coe will cost??
lets say 1litre car? the yr of the car you all just take an example loh.

I do know a little abt your enquiries and hopefully my information will help.
The transfer of 2nd hand car will cost (estimated) between 700-1200 maybe. Insurance will really have to depend on your driving experiences and which insureance company u take. From experience, NTUC will cost more. Maybe go for others like INDIA & NANYANG, will cost cheaper. With 5 yrs experiences or more, the insurances should not cost more than $1000 for a 1000cc car. Rd tax is cheaper. With the revised, should cost less than $300 for half a yr without the rebate of $100.
A few popular 1000cc u can see in our current 2nd hand car market are Hyundai Atos, Nissan March, Daihatsu Sirion, Suzuki Swift, just to name a few few. Of the 4 listed, March is slightly more expensive. The rest will put you in a range of abt 35k to 40k for a 4 yrs old car.
