it's pronouced as 'Lamp- bo' not lam-bo. Ferrari is Fer ra ri, not fer la li. i guess it's quite important to noe their exact pronouciation too. just my views =)

Haha just wondering, did you bring up that Maybach pronounciation because of the latest episode of Entourage?Originally posted by eviljustice:hm. just side track alittle. i just found out e exact pronouciation for Maybach. i guess many pple will just pronouce it as may-bach. hwever it is not. it's 'my-bark'. and another commonly wronged pronounced cars are Lamborghini n Ferrari.

If you got listen to Akon's "Smack That" and you paid attention to it's lyrics, he sang about the Lamborghini Gallardo..and he pronounced it Ga-llar-do..I was rolling my eyes when I heard it..He sang about it when he doesn't even know how to pronounce it properly..Originally posted by vertmonyet:one more.
gayyar-do not gallardo.

It seriously depends on what you are pronouncing..if it's english words, I understand the difference in pronunciation between American and British english..Originally posted by iaintmad:Sentiments exactly
Aussies will pronounce "today" as "to die"
Now this is dependent on cultures..like in Singapore, we like to say '360' as 'three six zero'..but to americans and britons, they say it as 'three sixty'..just like Nokia's advertisements..the narrator usually say the model number as, for example 'eighty-eight hundred' for 8800 instead of saying 'eight eight zero zero'..Originally posted by Elysium7:Bit off topic, but on a similar note, an interesting topic is how people say the Ferrari model numbers. Was a big discussion topic on their forums
360 - 'Three Sixty' or 'Three Six Zero'?
612 - 'Six Twelve' or ' Six One Two'?
575 - 'Five Seventy Five' or 'Five Seven Five'?
355 - 'Three Fifty-five' or 'Three Five Five'?
etc etc
Same orange one from that ST article last time where they were demonstrating the practicality of the SuperLeggera and they showed it waiting outside a school for the owners daughter?Originally posted by xxRaYxx:I just saw a Lambo Gallardo Superleggera..yes the Orange coloured with the signature Superleggera vinyls running along Sin Ming Ave @ 1115pm.
Wooo...very delicious! The driver was making rounds along Ai tong school and Bishan park sec.
Carplate if i saw correctly was SDH68
Yeah..it's wrong number plate anyways..haha..it's registered as a BMW X5 3.0i..Originally posted by Elysium7:Same orange one from that ST article last time where they were demonstrating the practicality of the SuperLeggera and they showed it waiting outside a school for the owners daughter?
Btw, not really allowed to post number platers here. But since that one you posted is slightly wrong, i think its ok haha

Depends on which way sounds nicer I guess... I'd use 'three sixty" and "four thirty", but "six one two", "three five five" and "five seven five" for the rest... Hehe... kinda realised as I was writing this that all of these have 3 syllables... maybe that's why they sound nice.. hehe... any more than that and it can't go well with "Fer ra ri"...Originally posted by alleggerita:Now this is dependent on cultures..like in Singapore, we like to say '360' as 'three six zero'..but to americans and britons, they say it as 'three sixty'..just like Nokia's advertisements..the narrator usually say the model number as, for example 'eighty-eight hundred' for 8800 instead of saying 'eight eight zero zero'..

yes my post is also OT but i wish to point out that the Canon EOS400D is a better deal for $200 more because the d40 and d40x lack a autofocus motor inside the camera which means that u have to use EF-S lens for autofocus functionility.EF lens u have to manual focus thenOriginally posted by Vanquish:a thousand plus. D40X will be 10MP but a lil more ex
