  I seriously think driving schools should emphasise more on roundabouts to prevent more of such idiocy.
  
  I was at Suntec's fountain of wealth roundabout, on the left-most lane (lane marking showed either turn-left or go-straight). Suddenly this Lancer from the lane on my right abruptly turned left in front of me while I was travelling straight. Understandably, if my lane allowed going straight, there was no way his lane could have allowed turning left.
  
  I had to jam brake to avoid hitting him/her, and needless to say I held my horn blasted. Damn fuelled.

  i think no driving schools teach roundabouts.
  and all 4 driving schools don't have any round-abouts near them

  I remember I was taught once at a small roundabout at hillview. But I think some of us need more than just once.
  
  In a roundabout, even if one misses his exit, he can always go another round, what's the fuss with that? Rather than doing such lame illegal acts.

  i think the problem is the drivers here not used to roundabouts, too unpopular. so have traffic lights to replace roundabouts. less chaotic also
