HDB to introduce family season parking ticket from Oct 1
SINGAPORE: The Housing and Development Board is introducing a family season parking ticket starting next month, making family visits easier.
HDB residents who require season parking tickets to two different car parks due to family arrangements can get family season parking tickets, which will cost half the price of regular season parking tickets.
For example, regular monthly season parking ticket charges for passenger cars are S$65 for surface car parks and S$90 for multi—storey car parks. The charges for family season parking ticket will be S$32.50 for surface car parks and S$45 for multi—storey carparks.
The scheme will be introduced at car parks where there are sufficient parking lots for residents.
The move came in the wake of a recommendation made at a forum on HDB Heartware in August last year for a family—friendly parking scheme to facilitate family visits and foster closer family ties. — CNA/ac -

If you work it out, you'll need to park at your in-laws or frequently visited family members for at least 33 hours to even it out... and take note, Sunday is free from 7am to 10:30pm. This kinda thing works best for parents who bring their kids to their grandparents to babysit, at the end of the day go back to collect and chit chat a bit. -

what i think is troublesome is to show proof of parent-child n proof that they stay there.... what proof to show other than birth cert??? kinda ridiculous...
