  Looking for a GPS unit to buy. Preferably with west Malaysia Map .
  
  Probably looking at TIBO ,or Garmin.

  I use a Garmin Nuvi and download the maps from http://www.malsingmaps.com
  
  Got it a few months ago from pefect Watch at Sim Lim
  it speaks in both english and chinese.
  
  so far so good. no complains and i am a happy driver.
  that map is free and it does get updated pretty often although sometimes i run into directions which ask me to go onto roads that i should not.
  E.g :- asking me to turn right when it is a no right turn junction.
