New record for World's Fastest Production Car

  Not exactly new news, but the SSC Ultimate Aero TT has unofficially overtaken the Bugatti Veyron as the World's Fastest Production Car, with an average top speed of 256.15 mph. That's just a little faster than the previous record. The record run is said to be currently being verified by the Guiness Book of Records. With 1183 bhp, it is also the World's Most Powerful Production Car. The Ultimate Aero achieved this record despite having half the number of cylinders and superchargers. I guess Bugatti really has to make more effort.

  fast is one thing...can it be on par with the veyron as a whole package??? comfortable,stable,fast in corners etc....

  They did have a point to prove, that such an engineering feat can be done. It wasn't ever about the practicality or the resources (although VW made things much more difficult by demanding luxury fittings for the Veyron). It's a bit like the space race of the last century.

  cos if everyones driving the same QQ..its ok..100kmph top speed wont do a shit..hahahha..it takes forever to reach 100 for that car anyway..at most u doing 60 on a normal road..some guy ran across the road.u tap on the brakes..u will be on 0kmph

  Apart from that having your fuel tank finished in a matter of 15 mins while running at top speed is also ridiculous.
