Check out the press release of Nissan's latest high performance sports car and pictures: http://www.worldcarfans.com/9071024.007/nissan-gt-r-officially-revealed
To properly support the all-new GT-R, Nissan has established special Nissan High Performance Centers, where all certified advisors and technicians have received extensive training. Total support for the GT-R owner is offered for the first three years of ownership, including measurement and adjustment of the engine, transmission and wheel alignment after the first 1000 km, and again every 12 months, free of charge.Wah that means if Tan Cheong were to really bring in this GT-R, they'll be sending some technicians to train for this car.... and I wonder how PIs are gonna deal with the warranty and support
i dont tink TC is bringing it into singapore. as for the PIs i dont tink they will honor the kind of warranty n support that japan is providing to GTR owners.maybe 1 yr warranty n thats itOriginally posted by tomsss:Wah that means if Tan Cheong were to really bring in this GT-R, they'll be sending some technicians to train for this car.... and I wonder how PIs are gonna deal with the warranty and support

If its 1395 kg, its at least 150 kgs lighter than the r34 which is good...Originally posted by dare2kill:"The massive engine is alleged to propel the GT-R from zero to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds, with a quarter-mile time of 11.7 seconds. If accurate, that would put the car's weight at about 3075 lbs., thus having a power-to-weight ration of .154 (339.5 bhp per tonne)."

Btw 3075lbs =1395kg
Izzat good?
If it's really only about 1400kg, then it's light!Originally posted by dare2kill:"The massive engine is alleged to propel the GT-R from zero to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds, with a quarter-mile time of 11.7 seconds. If it's about US$70,000, at current conversion rate of about S$1.45 to US$1.00, then after converting to S$ it's about S$101,500..then multiply by ABOUT 120%, it's about S$223,300..plus COE, road tax, insurance and commission dealer earns, about S$350,000 I guess..Originally posted by dare2kill:In the states, the New GTR costs $70,000
Similarly, the new Chevvy Corvette Z06 Costs $125 More.
I remembered that someone knows how to convert Car prices from other countries to SG price... Would Someone kindly do so?
And yeah, the first knob is to tune the 4WD system for normal, sports, and snow I guess..second knob is to change the suspension settings for sports or comfort..and third knob is to turn the traction control on or off..Originally posted by dare2kill:And is that suspension/ traction tuning? It comes with a BOSE system...![]()
Wow. Then that's a pretty low price for such a performance. Hopefully, this car do get distributed in SG, then there'll be more fast cars on the road. Or should I say, fast cars become more affordable.Originally posted by alleggerita:If it's about US$70,000, at current conversion rate of about S$1.45 to US$1.00, then after converting to S$ it's about S$101,500..then multiply by ABOUT 120%, it's about S$223,300..plus COE, road tax, insurance and commission dealer earns, about S$350,000 I guess..

Sorry..say wrongly..it's mutiply 220%..Originally posted by yxTay:Wow. Then that's a pretty low price for such a performance. Hopefully, this car do get distributed in SG, then there'll be more fast cars on the road. Or should I say, fast cars become more affordable.
BTW, the 120% is not multiply, is add. If multiply, then is by 220%, 'cos 120% is tax, plus the price of the car, need to add 100%.
