You get value for money though, if one is looking for Pt A to Pt B transportation, its really worth looking...

Just like to share my personal opinions.
I'd passed my driving test 6 days ago. Initially, budget was my first priority as I would like to have financial freedom and not having to fret for car maintainence every month. As such, I went over to Suntec and have a look at their cars.
I was impressed by their Geely MK model and thought it was good. In fact, I am considering buying their manual version. I thought, I only need a simple car to bring me from point A to B and they boasts their FC to be around 15km/l.
The very next day, I went back to office, proclaiming to my collegues that I am about to get a Geely MK. Everyone was screaming condemnation to the cars and I was pretty pissed by those horandeous comments. I meant, they are just prejudiced. However, I thought, if I could have a chance to buy an Akira or Pioneer plasma tv, I would prefer the latter as they are more established. But if I just need a simple plasma tv to watch for a year or 2, akira would be the better option.
My colleague came to me saying, "You gotta love what you drive and be sure that you won't live to regret after driving it." He offered to drive me down to Ubi to take a look at other cars. I went to a couple of makes, Toyota, Nissan, Honda etc and I had a world of experience.
After the simple visit, Geely became my last option and Vios and Latio went right up to the top. I just need to top up 10-15k and I could get a much better car. In the end, I opted for a Nissan Lation Premium.
I would advise you to reconsider if you are getting a Geely MK. Are you going to drive that car for at least 7 years (if you're taking a 10 years loan)? Your break-even point is around 7th year, though the car agent told me I would break even around 4th-5th year, which I seriously doubt so.
I'd read an article that Geely failed the crash-test and looks like they have to wait after 2008 before hitting the US market.
My conclusion:
Pay a little more to have that more comfort. You are only to pay an additional $100/month to get reliability, comfort and pleasure. -
nt to say that it's bad, but for the first time, i am impressd by the looks of the car, it's far better than the Ck machiam 90s era car.

Hi man, do you knwo when Geely sold out his first car? 1986! so you can find Geely cars which exceed 10000km easily.
