The Malaysian car holds a specially-bid number plate, which was released for auction by the Govt to celebrate the Commonwealth Games held in Kuala Lumpur in 1998.
I don't know but the prices were four-digit figures, in ringgit.Originally posted by MooKu:Wow wee.
I should've just PM-ed you.
How many did they auction off?
By the way, how do I read Malaysian car plates? Is it like, those beginning with J all come from Johore?
Huh, like that called 'auction' ah...Originally posted by ^tamago^:I don't know but the prices were four-digit figures, in ringgit.
The smaller numbers are official vehicles and I think they only auctioned the plates after the Games.
Malaysian plates have no suffixes. Those from Johor will begin with J, taxis use HJ, and also beware of the crown prince TMJ.
