why braking increase FC?

  As above, why will hard braking increase the fuel consumption for the car? can any expert care to explain?

  increase fuel consumption? hmm not too sure...
  
  But hard braking will definitely wear out yur brake discs faster...
  Moreover if u do it on a wet road...high chance of skidding...

  lower speed requires more energy to bring it back up to speed... that translate to giving more gas to the engine.

  brake more means u need to accelerate more..thats why FC go up
