Do You Keep Your Certificate of Insurance in Car?

  My AIG certificate of insurance says, "Important: Keep this document in your car".
  
  Does everyone do that? What if the car gets stolen?
  
  Anyone gets warned by the authority for not keeping the original copy in car?

  photocopy good enough. when u DO need to use it,u can always go back home to get it.
