Just now my dad parked his car in a public HDB carpark in Bukit Batok, the one next to West Mall.
Coz today is a sunday, he didn't put a parking coupon.
As we were walking back to the car we saw ticket auntie issuing coupons damn happily.
We checked and that carpark nvr indicate at the entrance that Sunday must put parking coupon.
Wtf.... $30 disintegrate just like dat....

i almost kanna today too at the mscp opp jurong point. didnt noe need coupons on sundays. lol done wif my shopping and saw car park auntie beside. but heng bo tio.

yes, most places car parks near shopping center sunday must pay. compass point opp got car park also must pay, but not the other one a little inside somemore.

Most carparks near the town centrals will need to pay on Sundays.
Eg. Jurong Point, Tampines Mall, Junction 8, Bedok Interchange, etc... -

1) Esp for this case, most prob they can consider this, as the driver do not know and morever the signboard didn't state. in most cases where driver claim that they didnt know then appeal, ura/hdb will reply tat, u have the check the board first and if it does state, then it's our fault. in this threadstarter case, mentioned that the board didn't state .. so ... ya ... should be able to ..
2) Delay payment - nowadays in other cases which we will most prob loose, appeal are only used to extend grace period dateline to pay off the summon .. for instance if they are given 7 days grace to pay, just let's say a kid above 18 has no $$$ on within that days to pay off, as his driving his dad car and would like to clear the summon before his dad know, on the last day of the 7th day, he could make the appeal, then authority will take 10 days to give the result, upon rejected, do 2nd time appeal, which will take another 10 days, by the time second time rejected, it would already be a total of 27 days, by then he could have save up and pay off the summon ..

sometimes got chinese weddings... the groom receive the bride just for a while.. go up.. 15min come down... 4 cars in a row kena summon!!!
i stay opp. tamp mrt stn only. heh.
