My best advice is just to try and relax and stay calm during the test. I remember during my first TP I was really tense and nervous, and I hit the kerb exiting the reverse parking lot
, first time I'd ever hit the kerb on the circuit ever and got 10 points I think. From then on I was paranoid and kept trying to calculate my points, so I couldn't concentrate properly. Just try and relax and pretend its not the real test

NO.. they will just say:"TURN LEFT!" in a stern voice.. at least that's what i get.. maybe because i don't wear a skirt..
but don't bother calculating your points, if not sure tense..
blind spots must always, ALWAYS CHECK! a lot of ppl fail by that.. but i never got marked for blind spots, not even with the chance.. heh -
Parallel parking in TP is something like that if i never recall wrongly:
Position your car around 0.5-1m (agar-agar) from kerb and some distance away from the poles whereby when you turn your head you can see all of them without blocking the other person parking in front of you.
Engage reverse gear and once the front pole closest to your car is at the right-top right of your rear windscreen as you are looking backwards, full lock to left.
Look at your right blind spot mirror. Once the car is in line with the 2nd behind poles you see, straighten your wheels. Then look back again for safety.
Let the car reverse in a straight line until the bonnet has cleared around halfway to three quarter from the front pole then full lock to the right. Look behind again for safety.
Make sure you don't hit the behind poles. This is another reason you should look behind. Coz your car no reverse sensor.
When you have reversed enough, depress clutch and brake, shift to 1st gear. Move forward and steer towards the left until car is parallel with parking lot then straighten your wheels. You can full lock to the left if you wish in this case but do remember to be fast and fluid in your actions.
If necessary, reverse again to position your car in the centre of the lot. Remember, everytime you reverse you must look behind.
If I never recall any steps wrongly, its more or less like that. However, what I, or your instructor said are only guidelines and recommendations to use during your TP. In real life, there is never a clear cut point when you should full lock or straighten your wheels at what point of the parking. You have to depend on feeling and understanding of your car dimensions. Best is if you can recall how to parallel park like its second nature rather than memorising the steps.
Anyway, good luck for your TP. Basically, on the main road, Ubi is always a lot of cars one as long as the sun is up. But I believe at 2pm your tester won't be so strict. -

Haha I passed 2nd try. I made it thru the driving course without a single point so I was really happy and thought I'd be totally fine on the roads, and at the end of the test I thought I did really well, but it turns out I got 18 points on the road through tons of little mistakes, and the tester said he only passed me because he thought I knew what I was doing

the most fearful part is when you go into the room after the test..
the pass or fail moment.. -

Personally I don't believe that testers have no quota or bias towards school learners. The possible reasons are quite obvious lah, don't think they need to be said. -
