3) in circuit, bump on the kerb will 10 pts?
4) how long will the whole thing be? for circuit and road?
thanks hor, it's on fri 4:30 pm
Hey, although I'm not from BBDC, hopefully I can answer your questions.
1) It depends on the curvature of the road, but if its a right turn or left turn, definitely need to signal. If you following the curvature of the road, no need. Also, whilst turning right or left, need to check blindspots etc.
2) This I cant answer, sorry.
3) If bump kerb in circuit is still counted as immediate failure, unless you are doing parking or directional change. That if im not wrong will minus 8 or 10pts. Cant recall. Just try your best not to hit the kerb because will reflect badly on you since circuit is pretty much a "controlled" environment. "Controlled" means like the traffic flow is still quite alright and usually TP cars have priority. Instructors will usually ask their students to avoid TP cars, so yeah.
4) For me personally, It took around 5minutes in the circuit (CDC) and for road, another 8 - 10minutes. Actually if you are confident and safe, everything will be finished around 15minutes. In circuit, its just a routine for you again, just that theres a passenger beside you. So yeah, stay calm can finish within 5minutes. Be wary of new learner cars in the circuit though, usually 1st timers will have their headlights on (for CDC) so avoid them if possible. Road wise, for me the TP emphasised heavily on watching out for Pedestrians and Lane Change (I could tell because he was not discreet in keeping a look out for Pedestrians crossing). He didnt bother about the minor mistakes like stopping car lengths away or wide turn etc. So yeah. Depends on your TP.
Well, good luck for the test, I believe you can pass if you drive safe. Just have to prove it to other people that you are safe. :0
