The name is Panamera, Porsche Panamera. The international car of mystery will be a combination of a coupe and sedan
There is still some confusion about the exact launch new Porsche - some say it will be 2008 end, others say 2009. Probably, even Porsche doesn't know for sure.
The Panamera will be built at the Leipzig factory alongside the Cayenne, and sources are estimating an annual production of nearly 20,000 units. The sleek rear-wheel-drive four-seater will be powered by Porsche's 4.5-liter V-8 - either the 340-horsepower version, or the optional 450-horsepower turbocharged engine. A hot 500-horsepower version may eventually follow. The new chassis may be shared with Volkswagen in an arrangement similar to the one that spawned the Cayenne. -

Maybe if i can see the Panamera, my feelings will be different. Right now, it isn't appealing.

from the pics it looks bad...disappointing...looks as if they cut n paste the headlamps from the CGT...and stretch the whole body

PARANOMA Porsche is it?? lols... looks more like a LEXUS GS300 to me... Porsche doesn't really produce car with 4 seaters right? the cayenne actually shocks me..

Nothing wrong with Porsche exploring new markets..but they can't be considered an exotic marque anymore to me..and this Panamera is ugly..and news of it together with the pics posted here is already out at the beginning of 2007..
I quite like the Porsche 924..and a more beautiful modern Porsche has to be the Carrera GT.. -
