Can malaysia proton car company survive

I read from last week paper that Msia proton car company are in big trouble.
They want to mege with volkswagen but fail.
their share price drop badly, their sale are bad, their make losses for many quarters. -
In my point of view, they can still survive unleast theres more financial back up provided by the government or else they will need to find private investors to invest in the company or find some MNC to buy thier company. haha, they have been in trouble at least for 7 years liao...
its true that since last year the circumstances have been particularly dire. they kept changing management, but they don't get it that a subsidized company with no true value cannot compete. -
they can survive 1 la, if they keep making 'muslim' cars
not being racist, but they should keep it in malaysia -
they didn't fail to merge, they rejected VW. why? because last quarter. proton reaped RM3.5million in earnings, and it thinks it isn't in trouble anymore.
it will survive because it is not subject to the laws of economics. if it were, it should have closed down on day one.

According to my dad,it is V.W. don't want to invest into Proton,the reasons is V.W. wants to change the top management to their own men[Germans],but the Malaysian reject it,now i ask,who wants to throw in $$$$ & let others run the show/company.?

Once I heard from a Malaysian friend who explained to me about the demise state of Proton. He heard from a Malay ex-Proton executive.
In the past, Proton had no racial quota on her employees. However, with the introducation of discriminative racial quote, which 80% of the employees must be Malay, Proton started to go downhill. This new quota is in accordance of the Bumpi policy which gives Malays unfair rights over other ethnic citiziens.
Lot of talented non-Malay employees left the company and only to be replaced by sub-standard Malay employees. The new employees got their jobs mainly because they are Malay. Moreover, the top management became Malay-dominated.
Sub-standard employees sub-standard products coupled with the opening out of Malaysian market to foreign competitors poor sales performance
But guess the Proton management has done something to halt the downfall. -
I think speak of sedan car.. i felt that Lancer sport , Avanta, Mazda3, altis, axio and honda civic is among the best liao..

if he doesn't, it will collapse and workers will lose their jobs and not vote for him. -
I rather go for Proton instead of China brand cars, China cars have even worst safty standard even with the airbag on. ironically, it's the oldest saga which has best quality, because mitsubitshi contributed the most. whatever after that is crap.

i lik tat proton savy, however, putting a 1.2litre engine into a size of tat car is worthless. FC high wif a small car lik tat.
