Hi all.....i am thinking of getting a car...either a honda civic VTI or a mivec...just wondering anyone got any advice on which car is better?? In terms of performance..fuel consumption etc..etc..??

A DOHC Vti is defintely better than the mivec, but not sure abt the SOHC Vti though. But by far, Honda is definitely a better car than Mitsubishi in general.
A mid-99 Lancer will cost u abt 70k in the current 2nd hand car market. Of cos, think this price can be cut by a further few thousands.
Nevertheless, these 2 cars look great, with some slight mod here and there. If you are going for a mivec, try to go for a manual one. -

sorry guys correct me if i m wrong. i m a noob. but i think tat mivec lancers don't come in manual, the closest u get to manual is tiptronic.

hi there... from my point of view, i tink tt e mivec is better. it has 175BHP n accelerates to 100km in abt 9s. which is almost e faster den the BMW 320i. the manual version would be ideal. n some mod like changing 2 OZ rims. e car would be damn fierce. er.. i was tinkin, the evo7 is quite fierce too. maybe u interested?$155k(new)

has standard out put of 116 while evo have twin turbo charger
to pushes the horsepower to 280bhp.Turbo charger work by
spinning at more than 13000 rpm to bring in fresh air into the combustion chamber as more air is present more fuel can
enter and combust thus deliver more hp from every pistons
to say it increase the air fuel mixture.. -
