Hence there's TONS more JDM Type-R than this UK Type-R.
And considering the number of "fake" Type Rs ![]()
U guys are good, one glance and you know its UK-made...
Btw is it true that Honda Type-R (or even JDM) models are only avaiable through parallel imports? I think i've read from a car mag that Japs like to save the best for themselves, hence the limitation in exporting to foreign countries?
To me i cant differentiate a true Type-R from a fake, but i think its credibility's already tarnished by some owners deliberately wearing the Type-R badge and red logo...

JDM Type-Rs are ONLY available through PIs because Kah Motors is bringing in the UK Type-R, which is a hatchback. While the JDM is a saloon.
Rather easy to differentiate real JDM Type-Rs from fake Type-Rs. The fake ones usually don't have the same white alloys of the real Type-R. I believe the white alloys are unique to the JDM Type-R.
And fake ones either have the stock brakes, which is smaller than the Type-R ones. And their calipers may not be red in colour. Even if it's red, it might just be a stuck on fake "Brembo" calipers. Even if the fake Type-Rs have bigger brakes, it's usually aftermarket and it's maybe grooved or cross-drilled. Rear bumpers will usually be different also.
That's all I can think of for now.
Thanks for the info, will pay more attention from now on.
Sorry for bringing the thread off-topic guys!
on my way to lunch i saw a old white color Land Rover Defender open roof and it does not even have a roof. One Ang Moh chap was driving it. But i didn't manage to take a pic of it as it was driving to fast on the CTE towards re carnation

Hey I sat in a Rolls Royce of the same colour combination.
They let us have it for a day, with their driver. The flooring was like fur. And the seat is like a full sofa.
Personally, I don't like this colour..

You didn't read the T&C of this thread? Experience in an exoticar means nothing without photos. In layman's term, NPNT.
Edit: Typo

Wow, when did you see that? I saw it in M'sia on the 21st this month.
Btw, how do you all post pics (with Photobucket)?
Saw LOTS of exotics in last weekend. Highlight was a WHITE Maseratu Granturismo with RED interior. Very nice. It was in the Marina Square carpark's carwash.

They take awful long time to produce the car..
Eh.. I'm taking private jet in June too, so i'll take picture, though its off-topic right?
Should I take picture of the Maserati?
No problem. You can post the pictures of the private jet in the Aviation Forum.

Your experience was here in SG or elsewhere? There's only one with the silver/black colour combi (which JJxJJ posted) here.

The drift show was very disappointing. Couldn't see nuts at all man. I thought the show at the Kallang Indoor Stadium was more interesting. With all the anti lag exhaust and launchings, way better than the crowd who cheered when the Malaysian drifter crashed into the tyre walls.
