Do You Admit there is no traffic congestion solution ?

Hi,
What is the definition of 'Solution' ?
This has to be understood 1st.
As far as I know,
in this world,
despite deep blue super computer and all,
there is no solution to solve traffic congestion problem.
THERE is NO SOLUTION. How true is this ? what is your views?
So, what is the purpose of implanting gentries?

Decrease the vehicle population through cutting down on the number of COEs. It will have repercussions on other values though, and people will be less inclined to sell older vehicles and buy newer, cleaner ones.

Back to the topic, the only solution is: Reduce the overall vehicles population.

believe it or not, yday i overtake all cars on PIE(between upp. changi rd east and tampines, westbound) on lane 3. lane 1 and lane 2 all so slow. i look at my rear view mirror i see the cars behind following what i did. oh well. -

I think COE and ERP work like maggic liao right?
i think the ERP system solved the traffic congestion problem liao. only small roads get jammed now. maybe this proves that sg has found the mudder of all solution to traffic congestion which has never seen a solution even using DEEP BLUE super super computer, until now ?

only 1000 1.6cc and below per month
the lucky ones will ballot and get it and got their cars
the unlucky ones will get later
cap the number of coe ... and everything will be solve .. -
the problem now is like we got increase of cars ownership but yet we also hv an increase of cabs
tats why we see a jam at cte daily
cap the lnumber of COE each month ... limit the number of car ownership each year
make the rich to even hv to have that piece of luck to even own a car although he/she had the money to burn ... and everything will resume to normal.. -

some guy with white power on his face countered that no need to even try this thing saying that this method won't work.
I agree that this method surely will have great effects.
emergency or cases where cars are justified to be urgently needed can be allowed coe. this will cater for all cases and make this method workable and practical. commercial vehicles need not be limited in number. its the private cars that could be limited in number.
this method should be regardless of who the @#$@ you are - rich or powerful in the name of democracy. once you have 1 car, you cannot be allowed another car. If you still want, migrate. Why ? already there is perenial traffic porblem. something has to give.
With this method, which is so easy,
there is no need for guntries.
why spend public money on guntries when it is not clear it has solved the traffic problem ? if it had worked, how can the traffic congestion every morning you face be explained when you drive in non-expressways? Even on explessuays, there is jams also every now and the then.
so many have proposed and voiced this solution. I wonder what has OPPOSE proposed in this aspect.

Many countries, large and truely 1st world ones. have traffic congestion.
sg is so tiny with so few km of road to control and manage.
Its understandable why large countries have traffic congest.

Even sg is having traffic spill over to minor roads everyday.
who still have the nerve to expect truely large and glorious countrys to solve their traffic problem?

4m can actually... but the policies like no bus duplication or direct bus svs aren't making it attractive or adding capacity at the same time -
