Estimated damage Cost of repair after accident

Hi! My Opel Combo Van kenna hit by another car on the metal directly above my front left wheel (is that called the mud guard? or issit fender?). I think may need to change the whole piece of metal cos its quite dented.
i wonder if anyone can estimate roughly how much that would cost? The lady who hit my car said she not sure wanna use insurance or just ownself settle?
she said if expensive then use insurance... if not expensive then ownself settle
My workshop close liao leh.. anyone can help me estimate the rough cost of this damage? -
If its just the metal, you changed completely... I think maybe around 400? Had similar experienced happened to my friend, its bumper infront and the side all scratched need repaint about 700...
If no repaint just change the whole thing, it should be less then 1k hopefully, need quotation from workshop. Different workshop quote differently... if you are lucky..

Bro, if it is just the fender, then probably no need to change, cos it's metal, and can be panel beated back into shape. That plus spraying, should probably cost about $350 if no other parts r damaged.
Even if you change a new piece, you will still need to paint because the parts usually come in a different colour to your car. Also, to keep the costs low, you might decide to go for a 2nd hand part.
To be sure, it's better that you visit a workshop to let them assess the damage, cos it's very hard to quote over the web..

cos my van new leh.. i heard just 'beat back' sometimes will end up rusty one... anyway i think i'd drive back to the opel combo workshop and ask them how ... in the end is the other party's insurance pay ba.......
