i got into a bad accident once too(not going to elaborate liao..) and i went mths without touching a car. but i noe i haf to regain tat confidence and the best place to do it is at where u lost it. now i past the accident site wif no fear and the best thing? i cant even remember the actual spot now! haha
gif urself a break if u dun feel comfortable driving. and trust me u'll be a much safer driver after this ordeal. -
From experience, i realised that when driving on bend from expressway drive out to smaller roads is very accident prone. I tend to slow down a lot now when driving round bends.

Maybe you are not familiar with the roads that resulted in poor judgement. Be thankful that it's a AWD that you are driving in, as a Front or rear drive will be much harder to control in accident.
Anyway at 60 plus speed, you shld still be able to savage the car.

After straight road then i cut to outer right lane speeding
by 5km/h

I think someone once explained the danger of the curves at that area... the road doesn't slope towards the apex of the turn, instead, it slopes the other way, causing you to find your car nearing the edge of the road when you drive by there... if the road is wet, its quite easy for your car to skid off the road completely...

Why would you buy a WRX if you are into safety and such??
WRX might be fast but according to plenty of user reviews its AWD gripping when going through cornersleaves a lot to be desired.
Better sell it and get another car. -

try to go for toyota -
eh wat drain are u talking about?? went there a few times wat is that there are poles seperating the drain and the road..
anyway, it's quite dangerous there.. the place is misty and road is wet sometimes at night.. -
I walked away from a car accident involving a 98' Subaru Impreza, not even a WRX, and a Holden Station Wagon when I was in Aus... I was in the Subaru... Got hit directly at the left side, right where I was sitting, behind the front passenger... The Subaru's side panels all got damaged, B pillar bent inwards till it hit the side of the front passenger seat... We got hit so hard the car was on the two right wheels for a moment and bounced when it came back down... The Holden's front bumper came off... The Holden was trying to cut the red light when we were at the junction turning right... And all 4 of us in the Subaru walked away without a scratch... If there's any make of car that I will swear by its safety, its definitely the Subarus... -
Then got those who got killed in the recent spade of Subaru accidents to agree with you....you must understand models are not all the same. Else why is Subaru's price dropping all the time?
Anyway nothing to prevent you getting a subaru. My friends who have driven them swears not to drive any subarus again, and it's not just on the accident-prone nature of the car. -
