Car having sqeeking sound

I have sent my car to the service centre twice because when braking at slow speed, there is sqeeking sound, as in having the 'eeeeeeeeeee' sound. After sending to the centre twice, still have this problem after a few days.
Anyone knows what is the problem? I changed the brake pads already. On my part, what can I do? -
Maybe there could be a defect on your brake disc itself. Could be a uneven surface of the brake disc that casues those squeaking sounds. Check them out at the workshop.

because I am having the same problem with mine.. and its a mazda 3.
mazda ppl say there's nothing they can do about it..

Goodness, Mazda 3 again. I read in some magazine some years back that some Mazda 3 has this "moutain" on the disc brake. Meaning that there is a lump of stuff protruding from the surface of the disc. In this case, it should be a manufacture defect.Originally posted by bluejuice:what car is this?

And it so happens my dad drives a Mazda. But haven't seen any problems after 3 years. -
Yep, it sounds like a brake disc problem. If it's not too badly damaged or warped, a simple skimming of the disc will solve the problem. Otherwise, have to change the discs.
But it could also be the brake pad problem, because some after-market pads will be noisier than the original. -
Does it only happen in the morning? Or after you wash your car?
