Actually...with the latest Fit, performance is better..it is longer and it has more luggage space. Am thinking of getting it but what holds me back is the over enthusiastic demeanor of the PI sales people...really scared the hell out of me with their (over) promises.
Am still hunting around which PI can really hold some water in the Customer Service area and did not run afoul of CASE...the point is that CASE still did not publish names of errant PI dealers...nor did it post any good feedback too. Makes it all the more tougher.

U tested the performance of the car? 1.3 or 1.5 variant?
Coz as far as I rem, both cars have been tuned to have more power, but they would also be carrying around cars that r about 200kgs heavier than the car they replace, model for model.. Kinda negates the higher horsepower ratings.. Knowing Honda tho, they prolly lowered the final drive and closed up the gear ratios, amongst other things.. to make the car a bit more responsive..
Have to agree... the interior of the new Fit is huge! So huge it has a new name. The Honda Fat!!
