red light camera

  hello people yesterday while i was driving late at night i didnt realise that the traffic light turned amber and i continued to turn left...i saw a flash and realised there was a red light camera... i heard some people telling me tt the camera has to take 3 shots for them to fine u..is tt true? cos i only saw 1 shot..maybe its because i turned right into a petrol station instead of going straight....i also heard pple saying tt some cameras will flash but they nv got the letter....can anyone here pls clarify my doubts? thanks!!

  I don't think so. usually it's 2 shot by 2 camera. wait for letter. the fine is $200 and 12 demerit points

  Pray that the speed cam didn't have film inside...

  oh..i dunnoe whether its digital cam anot....it was in tampines street 91 just before shell station. eh are the 2 flashes very quick in succession? cos i really tink i only saw 1 flash.. also how long does it take for them to send me the letter if  kena? sorry guys but im really worried..im still an under 1 yr driver...my pts will become 0 if i really get the letter : (

  you may have missed the first flash. digital cam no flash and can be download remotely. manual one need to collect flim

  if you are very sure you didn't beat the red light, you can go to TP to check the negative but they won't send you the letter if they do not have a strong case.

  oh okay..thanks...is there anyway to tell whether its a digi or manual camera? the camera i kena was those tall long ones. how long does the letter normally take to arrive?

  i thought they dont have flashes now? now use laser?

  most are the manual one. i know KPE is digital as reported from the press. can't really tell. i had kena before so i can tell you
