I-VTEC vs VTEC

Is the Honda's new I-Vtec any better than their V-tec??? Any experts here care to share the pros n cons here?
The new civics seemed to have lost its teeth as all of em comes in SOHC instead of the DOHC in the SIR series. Ya n they look real ugly too... -

its to compete against toyota - vvti.
suppose to be fuel efficient for the next gen of hondas. as for the teeth = power, i suppose you got to lose some and win some. i guess u could look at the new accord. according to the dealers, they're having the same engine as the V.
anyway, have you tried the (CR)V yet? they're pretty cool. getting one soon.
comes with the i-vtec dohc.
parallel import is the way.....

The Honda Jazz seemed like a pretty cool car to b in too...but too bad the engine dosen't pack any punch... -

but its actuallie the ECU mapping, just like how a fuel regulator works without hesitation when u "needs" it.
Definitely the response in i-vtec is better than vtec, but not the SiR
If u seriously modding ur car, it also dont matter much, but u can go test the new Accord i-vtec 2.0.
the response is extremely good for a sports sedan and i take my hat off Honda as the car is built with quality unlike the past accord...its like a Japanese BMW
go give it a test drive and u know what i mean.

The newer models of SOHC compared to putting DOHC is due to LTA restrictions(?).. I'm not sure but there seems to be a reason its SOHC...
