Hey all, i passed my FTT(Final Theory Test) and now am looking to book my Practical Test.
My question is this....
Having passed the BTT and FTT as a School Candidate, i would like to know if i can discontinue my School Candidate status(Cancel Membership) and take my practical lessons and book practical test as a private candidate? If so, what will be the implications?
FYI, i am current registered with BBDC as School Member. Thank you for reading and look forward to replies.![]()
i failed my btt for 4 times :'(
if i not wrong, you can switch to private, just approach any private instructors and they will guide u through it, but you must understand that private applicants will have a longer waiting time to your final practical test, i got mine with school btw
If you want to find private instructor, you will need to enroll as private again. Which means, you will need to take up your BTT and FTT all over again.

No need to retake BTT and FTT? He's cancelling his membership of centre student lei. And enroll as private. Doesn't mean start all over again? They will keep your record?
If i not wrong, traffic police is the one who keep your btt and ftt records, not school(bbdc in my case). Traffic police is also the one who issues driving license not the school. School is just for learning,
TML I will call up BBDC and clarify again. Thanks to all who reply.
So how's the result?? Is it possible??
Yes, absolutely possible.
BTT results are PERMANENT. Once you pass it, you will NEVER have to take it again.
FTT is slightly different. If you took FTT with BBDC, and you quit BBDC, results will still stick with you because BTT and FTT results are kept by TP. BBDC or any other schools have nothing to do with the BTT and FTT. But FTT's results don't last forever like BTT. I think FTT's results is only valid for a year or two. So you must pass everything before you previous FTT's results is void and nullified.
