How often do u guys pump air into your car tyres to keep your car tyres inflated? I dun pump up my car tyres pressure. is it all right?
It isn't alright. You'll make your tyres wear out unevenly from under-inflation, and consume more fuel. Check and top up the air to the recommended pressure at least once every 2 weeks.
it's good to check like every week or at least twice a month like wad Kuali Baba said
if your tyres are good they don't leak! if they loose pressure every 2 weeks then u need to change it.
sometime u pump ur tyre becuz u want to change the pressure. for example, u want to drive 180 on the highway, u need a higher pressure rating.
once every 2wks
so is it acceptable if i check my tyres every few months?
anyone here pump nitrogen?
The company truck I'm driving, Tire pressure front 550 psi, rear 450 psi. But at all petrol station airpump, highest ish onli 450 psi. Like tat how to pump???

Go for it if you can afford it. Nitrogen is very inert under most conditions. So whether is it cold or hot, it won't expand or contract by a lot. Making sure your tyres don't suffer undue stress.
Actually will check about once every 1 1/2 week, and will alter the pressure under different conditions. Rainy trend, pump lower pressure, if not normally pump 210-230psi.
u do know that nitrogen is the same as atmospheric air?

Not exactly. You mean atmospheric air is 100% Nitrogen?

then we'll all be dead
what i meant is most HPA nowadays are maketed as "nitrogen", if you dont already know what i mean.
low tyre pressure increases FC... cos more rolling resistance due to increase surface contact of tyre with the ground... if you dun mind paying for your petrol more often... up to you.
Also, some ppl complain their car steering heavier than usual and they think that there's a problem with the steering system.... check tyre pressure first. Pump more nevermind, you'll just have a slightly more bumpy ride mah... and can save you a bit of $$$ in the long run too.

My toyota tyres pump nitrogen le.. It's not that ex or should i say not ex at all.. Unless i'm being conned or something..
how much does it cost

I never say it's expensive ah. But need to pay for it unlike just pumping normal atmospheric air, which is free. Haha.
normal atmospheric air is 70% nitrogen. So if that 20% oxygen and 10% others really make much different, u can go ahead and spend more $$
Umm, if ur workshop offers Nitrogen for ur tyres and if u can afford it..., roughly $20/- per tyre. It last longer than normal air, from one servicing to the next. They make ur tyres lighter too..., been using Nitrogen package for my tyres, so far so good.
No premature deflation or anything of the sort... But if not just check once every 2 weeks, recommended by driving school instructors too... And be sure not to over inflate..., not a pretty sight when it blows up on ya during hot day which SG has a lot of...
sorry, my take of nitrogen air is con air.
