  hum, i read abt a artical on carrera gt in singapore at porsche.sg sometime ago and its says that a  indonesian or malaysian guy bought it form Porsche Centre Singapore for Sing $700,000. Is it true?, at this price for a carrera gt.

  Vanq, I saw the pic of the Audi R8 'spyder' you posted on a different forum. I could just be ignorant, but I wasn't aware there was a convertible version of the R8? It looked awesome, did the owner get it done custom, and where?

  finally.

  

  same mansion that stored the 1002hp before. it was 900hp back then. i believed this owner owned a M4200GT before, since it's plate was same as his db9. he then bought a new MGT.

  it sounds like a monster. but friend of mine watched the GTR  from his dad's evo, racing at marina bay against some other rexes and evos.. turns out GTR lagged behind. well. i dont know. havent seen it in action only parked.

  Well,other than the fanciful figure, it's not as good or just merely match the performance that of legendary German sportcars.

   

  For instance,i do recall that a close circuit test of a 1000hp GTR in Japan netted a top speed of 333km/h.

  However, a stock BMW M5 or M6 (with only half that horsepower) de-limited can already hit that speed easily.

   

  Anyway, spotted this near the Flyer yesterday.
