How come less people use car covers when parking in carparks?
How much sun protection does it provide? Should be able to keep the car completely cool under hot sun for hours right?
Any experience with the car cover ( i no no the name to call it).

People don't usually put it when they live in HDB because there is all likelihood to get stolen
Depends on the quality. The one I bought from my dealer is not too bad
some car cover will melt at extreme temp under the hot sun for too long and will leave marking on u paint work

I agree that it is easily stolen.
1 at car4 is sold for at least 20 bucks a piece.

i use car cover for my black car in an open car park at my office from morning till i finish work.
it does block certain heat under a hot sun. it also blocks light rain.
yes it does leave some minor scratch marks on the paint. but considering the fact that it blocks all the dust, it is still worth it.
but i seldom use it when i park in public bcos i dun like others give me those funny staring like my car is so precious that i should park it somewhere else.
oh i got it from autobac. costed about $70.

i only see two occasion ppl use car cover.
off peak car they cover till the weekends.
my neighbour got into accident so he cover his car when park at carpark overnight.

wa reali will leave scratch marks? tink its ok to put it on no matter wat car u driving.. went bedok camp everytime can one of the owners put it on his proton G2...
go overseas for some time also can cover up to protect against the rain and sun which will leave watermarks on ur car.
the marks will be hard to remove after you come back from holiday

Yes, indeed it is true, the car cover has a market but very small.
Wow, $70 a piece is quite a lot man. I bet it must be the best type.
