to go for the new car 1k servicing, must the mileage be exactly 1k or can more than that? coz my car has reached 1100....
IT ok to exceeded more than 1100,try use semi or fully synthetic engine oil for u nxt oil change
do i have the book the servicing? or can i just drive in during morning without booking?
Shouldn't it be a scheduled servicing where the dealer will inform you about it?
What car are you driving? Usually Japanese and Korean cars have 1k servicing, but continental cars do not have that.
But even though they recommend 1k servicing to change engine oil, I think it's redundant. Engines are efficient now, I doubt it's needed. But of course, better to be safe than sorry. ![]()
1K change engine oil?? every 1k or only for new car?? hehe.. i just got and 97 nissan sunny.... so wan to know too.. mi noob in car at the moment...
Only for new Jap and Korean cars and for the first time only. Subsequently it's 10,000km.

Yes, even at 1100km =) Do book to prevent waiting, though other more expensive makes in the servicing area will keep you waiting as well .
