Does Glenn Tan actually act like a spoilt rich man son or is he just misunderstood?
some how i feel that he is the former...
but i would like to think its the latter to give him the benefit of the doubt..
but then again.. even the press doesnt portray him well...
and subaru isnt doing too well either.. its impreza.. which makes subaru popular.. is gradually being seen as second rate compared to lancer...
interesting to see how well it can keep itself afloat with its turbo charged engines and 4wd system in the midst of rising petrol prices...

Wah this kind of topic very subjective one... Does the boss really matter? I mean, you have those kind of damn nice boss, but overprice the cars and then after-sales service like fark, also LPPL.
So far honestly speaking I have not heard people having many major problems with MI as the subaru AD, but this kind of thing also very hard to say...
And yes the impreza not doing very well as compared to the lancer, but still, the Legacy is a very good car.

subaru's boxer engine makes the car a rough ride. i drove the 2.5l forrester in australia for 3 weeks and i can't say i like the drive. i am pretty impressed with the legacy wagon GT though. i asked about the car 4 weeks ago at MI and it is pretty ex. $95k for an outgoing model...

Ok was just kidding on that. Actually the comments about him being possibly a spoilt brat was not said by me. It appeared in the newspapers some time back (albeit in a more subtle manner) and I think they said this was suggested by other industry players in the automobile industry. I also heard a rumour, which I will not spread the details since there is no way I can prove the authenticity, of him treating an employee in a very childish and undesirable way before sacking him.
Well of course mainly I'm just curious as he seems to be the only fella in the car business in sg that appears in the media from time to time. Of course how he is in reality does not mean the cars his company sells or after sales service is poor lah.

yup its the car u buying not the AD boss...
subaru cars now quite cheap liao.. but then their service still need alot of tuning... plenty of complains....

I don't see how the engine contributes to the ride...
And the Impreza isn't selling in droves probably because it's available only as a hatchback right now. It was designed as one from the start as Scooby was trying to re-position the car in Europe. The saloon will follow soon.
