I noticed everytime i go over 100km/h my steering wheel vibrates. Any idea what is the problem? Am driving a 18yr old car so is it due to wear and tear or can it be fixed?
maybe need to do wheel balancing
Ok thanks for feedback. Will bring it for check when i'm free
it could be wheel alignment. but it can also be your tyre isn't fitted properly by the shop. most new tyres have some lines running along the grooves. lets say if the left tyre had a green ring nearer to the outside of the car, the right tyre's green ring shld also be outside of the car. if the ring is facing the inside on the right tyre, if u don't hold the steering wheel and let the car move, it will veer more to the left.
i think steering wheel vibration problem mostly come from unbalance rims not really wheel alignment...wheel alignment will only cause the car to veer and cannot keep straight...well i may be wrong
front wheel balancing out liao.
definatelyis wheel balancing.
Well, if tomsss says it's wheel balancing, then he's most probably right given his occupation. ![]()
