Lets say my friend rent a car, then i borrow from him. If tio road block what do i do? Is it considered driving without insurance as i just verbally rent from him? I have a valid licence btw. What are the charges for driving without insurance coverage? Fine? Will licence kena also?

I see. Hmm then by right if the car has proper insurance, you should be covered as well, unless you are driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
If you kenah road block just say that you are just borrowing the car from a friend, if you have done nothing illegal such as drink driving then most probably have nothing to worry abt..
I see.. Even if i p plate borrow evo from friend also nothing wrong right?

But does the rental company allow P plate to drive evo first? There are some requirement for certain cars to be driven by people who rent it.
