some sg ppl are very smart
got many ways to escape the ERP gate

but the govt oso smart. sealing all the possible exits to escape from ERP xP
Eearly in the morning.. you have to hear the beep beep sound..
and night when going home.. also have to hear the beep beep sound
you think we will happy meh?
when other places oso jam, govt will come and erect another ERP there.
literally é€¼å¾—èµ°æŠ•æ— è·¯
haha yarh. 'beep' has been a BIG part of our daily lives alr. totally no way to escape sia
What to do? In this situation, you only got 3 choices.
1) Sell your car
2) Take the public transport
3) Earn more money, overcome ERP charges (which I think is stupid)
too many ppl taking public transport
the buses and trains are getting too squeezy
taxi oni know how to raise raise raise price but service still phucked up
yarh taxi raise raise raise. bus n train over squeezy cant squeeze in. ERP increase increase increase. wad kinda life xP

1) Siao
2) Next time all buses run by meter like taix
3) well.... this i agree
hahaha i cant imagine buses running by meter LOL ![]()
buts its gonna happen, e govt already say that soon bus fare will be by distance and not how many buses u take/transfer.
erp is just stupid la, people also want to avoid jam what, no need to erect an erp gantry to keep people off that road.
the govt say wad reduce CAR USAGE lo. crazy. ppl so busy alr time is precious still wan ppl take public transport.
ERPs to reduce congestion, but right now there are practically too much that it is ridiculous.
We are already paying ALOT for our cars, over the standard price. Right now with these ERPs, standard of living in S'pore is high..
ERP is not a solution to the problem man.. it only diverts the problem away but the problem is still there..
might as well charge $100 everytime an IU beeps.. confirm the traffic smooth flowing one..
One thing I am doing now is offering car pool so as to ease some of my driving costs brought about by fuel price increase and of course, the cursed ERP. I feel people may be willing to take car pool since MRT and buses are sardine packed and Taxis are so ex. Pay a bit more than public transport and can get a comfortable ride to work/school, why not?

The reason is because govt want more ppl to take public transport.

That is very true. If you think about it, no matter what happens, is the govt win. When ERP prices are high more people take public transport. But you see those companies, also can give c0ck reason say that high fuel price affect them etc etc etc, but conveniently forget to inform you that the ridership increase more than covers the increase in running costs. And more ridership + increase prices = super fat bonus for all those top people. End up is the poor peasants who got no choice but to end up being sucked dry. Since when did any public transport company make any loss, in fact if you notice, during bad times their earnings are still very very high. Either way, we lose, and govt will always win one.
Uniquely Singapore.
i realise something.
u know the PTC says they will adjust the prices every now and then, but it never goes down. it just gives them a reason to increase costs.
